WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY ABOUT MY RESPONSIBILITY?

Let’s begin with Matthew 6: 33,34 to see what God says we should do about this business of personal bible studies: 6:33   But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
6:34   Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself.

As you can see from the above Scripture, God says, that in order for us to have all of His blessings, we must first seek Him and His righteousness, if we expect to receive His fullness and all the things that He wants to give us.

Therefore, ask yourself this question, that someone asked me 35 years ago, “How much do you love the Lord ?”  And the 2nd question was even more important in changing my life to full service in His cause, and it was this- ” If I told you that you did not worship God as you should; If I told you that you don’t eat the foods that God wants you to eat; If I told you that you don’t think,dress, and take care of your health as you should, and here is the big question– Would you be willing to change?  

Well, I started thinking why should I change anything about my life?  I have always been “what I call a good Christian” -doing what my parents, pastor or friends told me I should do and I was going to church each week.  I thought that should be enough, isn’t it ?     Dear friends, “seeking the Truth as it is in Jesus”,  was going to be a journey of Personal Studies that  I knew on that day from the Scriptures that that person who told me and showed me in the Bible ,”that God does not change”, {my way of saying what the bible said- (“I change not”)  that it meant that if, I was honest with myself, that I would have to make some very definite choices in my life, and that changes would occur in my life, if I truly was going to allow God’s sweet Spirit of Truth -THE HOLY SPIRIT-to guide and direct me from that point onward.

ARE YOU WILLING TO MAKE CHANGES IN YOUR LIFE; God does not change, so you must be the one that makes changes?

DO YOU WANT TO COME TO THE END OF LIFE and know that you have done everything you know in accordance with God’s Will for you and your family, in preparing them to meet the Lord Jesus?

Well then, let’s begin on our journey of Bible investigation into the Will of the Father for us through His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, who died and arose to save us from our sins and not, in our sins. 

 Jesus led a sinless life because as a man like we are, He depended on and had a personal relationship with the Father from through-out eternity.  Jesus has always been with the Father and the Holy Spirit; it was HE, who with the Father and the Holy Spirit, created Adam and Eve and all of us.  There has never been a time when Jesus was not!   Jesus Christ died that we might live and have an opportunity to live forever with Him and the Father, if we will repent of our sins, be baptized by total immersion under the water, as Jesus was baptized  and choose HIM, who saved us unto Himself, and together with the Father, we will be able to live happily in heaven and on the new earth, after sin, unrepentant sinners, Satan, and the evil angels are destroyed forever.  See Bible reference: Revelation   20:9   And they went up on the breadth of the earth and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven and DEVOURED THEM.  [Revelation 20:9]

After that scene takes place, then we will personally see God re-create this earth to a pristine beauty, more beautiful than Adam and Eve EVER saw , when they were created on the 6th day. and God finished all His work and rested on the 7th day, and blessed that day and made it holy or hallowed it.  Gen. 1:27-31; Gen.2:1-4

Now, the question becomes what will you do about the blood sacrifice of our Lord, Creator, Redeemer and Protector of our life- the Lord Jesus Christ?   Will you say yes to Jesus?  Will you say yes to extensive Bible study? Will you make a determination in your mind that you will serve Jesus and Him only, and not succumb to your own will and your own sinful nature that we inherited from “our parents-Adam and Eve-” by their choice to believe Satan {Lucifer} and not, God, Jesus and the urging of the Holy Spirit ?

Remember, you are totally responsible for your choices in life?  Will you choose God and live eternally or choose Satan, the destroyer of men and women everywhere and be destroyed forever as shown in Revelation 20:9 after the heavenly judgment millennium?   Will you be part of the Family of God through Jesus, our Lord, or become part of that portion of humanity who will have to experience, by their own choice, that dreadful moment when God cleanses the earth by fire, as we stated earlier in Revelation 20:9.    Choose you this day whom you will serve, Christ or Satan!    There is only two choices that any of us have:  life eternal or death forever?  

The Bible tells you about this horrific event that takes place, after the Judgment in heaven-of all those who will be destroyed completely and leave no portion of them.   See bible reference:   Revelation 20:9 and Malachi 4: 1-3  {….and the day cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch (no part of the person would remain)……and ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the Lord of hosts.}
