DO i really have to change my life? Why can’t I live as I want to live?

DO I REALLY HAVE TO CHANGE MY LIFE?

God says in the Bible, “I change not”

Well, let’s see what God says, in  Malachi  3:6   For I [am] the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.  

Therefore, since the Bible says that God does not change; He is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow; then, you and I must be the one that has to make changes in our lives, if  we really want  our life to be different than what it is now.   Where do you and I go from here?  What must either of us do to be sure that God is saving us for Himself?

Jesus said to His followers in John  14:6   Jesus saith unto him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.  

               John 14:14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do [it]. 
               14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. 
His promises are sure; however, they come with a "condition of obedience":
  1. We can ask Him for anything, but it must be in His Name- ” Example:   Dear Father, in the name of Jesus I ask that you provide me with the healing power of your strength to heal my body of all of it’s infirmities.  I commit myself, wholly unto you, to use me as you wish, and I pray in the name of your Son, Jesus that you heal me to enable me to serve you with the balance of my life that I might honor and glorify your Name because I want to change my life including any habits that I might have that has caused my body to break-down because of my ignorance or the  stubborn ways of my past thinking.  In the blessed name of Jesus, I ask and I thank you for having heard my prayer, AMEN.”
  2. I love you Lord and I will, by your strength-not my own-keep your beautiful Ten Commandments.
Yes, we must do the changing in our thinking, and in the actions of our life.  We know because God’s Word says so,
“I CHANGE NOT”.  Therefore, we must say to the Lord, ” I am willing to accept any changes that are necessary to bring my life into accordance with your Will, dear Lord Jesus.”  
Remember, Jesus said, ” not my will, but thine be done” when He was in the Garden of Gethsemane praying about what He should do.  Remember, He could have just returned to heaven or made a decision to not go to the Cross of Calvary for mankind.  He had never sinned: but if  He had not gone to the Cross, then NONE OF US would ever have had a chance to enter ever again into the Presence of the Father when Jesus comes back from heaven for His entire family.
There is “no such thing as a 2nd chance to except the Lord Jesus.”  The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 6:2…..
 behold, now [is] the accepted time; behold, now [is] the day of salvation.)
As we all have the same opportunity, and knowing that today is the day of Salvation, then wouldn’t you think that God is fair in giving each of us “This Day”, NOT tomorrow; for tomorrow is not promised to anyone, to make a decision to allow Jesus to have full sway in our life and to allow Him to live out His life in us because we will say, ” Yes Lord, I will change!”  Use me; try me and mold me after your Will, and not after my own.  I want to serve you today\.    I want You.dear Lord, to begin saving me this day by the power of the Holy Spirit and to come into my life and make me whole and make me wholly thine.
In the blessed Name of Jesus, I am ready to be changed into your service for the rest of my life.
I  [that includes you and me] now understand that all of us have to be changed into Christ’s likeness in this lifetime in order to prepare us for the life to come. and by accepting your life my Dear Lord Jesus, I hereby reject Lucifer-Satan from having any part of me.   I will remember Matthew 6:33 
“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness
and all these things shall be added unto you. “
